Located in
Lewistown in central Pennsylvania, Fame Emergency Medical Services
is a non-profit organization providing basic and advanced life
support services to the 26,000+ residents in the Lewistown, Juniata
Terrace, and Burnham Boroughs, and the Townships of Granville,
Derry, and Decatur in Mifflin County. We presently operate five
ambulances, four of which are equipped with ALS gear, two wheel
chair vans, and a Rehabilitation Unit. At a minimum, we
are staffed with three E.M.T.'s and three Paramedic's 24 hours a
day, with additional staffing Monday through Friday daylight. These
crews are supplemented by many experienced and dedicated volunteers.
