Fame EMS participated in a large scale MCI Drill held at Decatur Fire Station

Rehab 12 responded with area fire agencies for a barn fire.

Fame EMS and Rehab responded with multiple agencies for a vehicle accident on the Rt. 22 by-pass (Granville Twp Box 15-20).  Units arrived to find a tractor trailer off the highway and on fire.

The Fame EMS 2nd Halloween Parade was held.  A great time was had by all.  Many thanks to all the staff members that made this event possible for our community.

Rehab 12 was requested to Huntingdon Borough for an Apartment Building Fire.  Rehab 12 arrived and worked the treatment sector and then redeployed to the scene.  During this time the crews at home responded to a working house fire, a child struck by a car, and a stabbing.

Fame EMS & Rehab responded with area fire agencies to 226-228 W. 3rd. St. (Lewistown Borough Box 11-10) for a house fire.  Arrived on scene to find two houses well off.

Fame EMS participated in the Downtown Lewistown Trick or Treat Safe Night.  Many children were happy with the efforts of FameEMS.

Fame EMS responded with Engine 1-1 (Burnham) and Rescue 6-1 (Reedsville) for a vehicle accident located at Freedom Ave. and Logan Blvd. Burnham Borough Box 1-10.

Members of Fame EMS along with area fire and rescue staff spent the day learning the basics for vehicle rescue. This was the second full day of a 16 hour course.  Many thanks to City Hook & Ladder for the use of Rescue 14-1, Smith's Gulf for the vehicles to train with, and Lewvo's Restaurant for two great lunches.

Members past and present from Fame EMS attended the wedding of long time member Jeff Truhan.  A nice day was had by all and Fame EMS wishes Jeff and Mary the best.

Fame EMS responded with LFD to Green Ave. and Kish St. (Lewistown Borough box 13-10) Units arrived to find a two vehicle crash with one overturned.

Fame EMS participated in the annual National Night Out in downtown Lewistown.

Fame EMS responded with Lewistown FD to 137 W. Market St. (Lewistown Borough Box 11-10) Units arrived to find a room and contents fire.

Fame EMS responded for a man lying in the roadway in the 200 block of N. Walnut St.   After arrival A Platoon found themselves in the middle of a crime scene.  Fame EMS along with the MCRPD and fire agencies provided treatment and scene support for approximately three hours. 

DRUGS AND VEHICLES DON'T MIX.

Fame EMS participated in the annual Riverfest held along the Juniata River to celebrate the Fourth of July.  Members put in a long day providing EMS stand-by services and a food stand.  many thanks to the dedicated members that helped with this worthwhile event.

Fame EMS & Rehab responded with various fire agencies to the 200 Block of Delaware Ave. (Juniata Terrace Borough Box 15-10).  Units arrived to find heavy fire from multiple garages.

Fame EMS & Rehab responded with various fire agencies to 12 Industrial Park Road (Granville Twp. Box 15-17).  Units arrived to find a working fire in the sawdust bin of a local business.

Fame EMS responded with Highland Park Fire and City Rescue to the intersection of 5th St. & Ben Franklin Terrace. (Derry Twp. Box 4-10).  Units arrived to find a two vehicle accident.

Fame EMS responded with Lewistown FD to 217 N. Walnut St. (Lewistown Borough Box 14-10).  Units arrived to find a working house fire.

Fame EMS Board of Directors, under the direction of President Lepley, provided all EMS staff and their families a steak feed in honor of EMS Week.

Fame EMS conducted the annual EMS Day for the 5th grade class at Buchanan Elementary School.  The students had the opportunity to participate in many hands on skills.

Under the direction of Paramedic Breon, the A Platoon spent the afternoon repairing the front ramp of the station.  Good job and many thanks to A Platoon for the needed repairs.

Fame EMS held their company banquet at the Moose Family Center.  Many members and guests attended in recognition of 15 years of dedicated EMS service to the greater Lewistown area. 

Paramedic Joseph Shade was awarded the Chief's Award for his service to Fame EMS.
